Job Description
Ares Management is looking to hire an Analyst for the Global Client Solutions team in New York. This individual will be supporting the Global Consultant Relations team by organizing data, preparing meeting materials and researching Consultants. This individual will have the opportunity to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment where they can develop both technical and interpersonal skills at one of the leading global alternative investment management firms. Reporting relationships
Reports to: Managing Director, Head of Global Consultant Relations
Supervises: n/a
Primary functions and essential responsibilities
Provide support to Global Consultant Relations (“GCR”) team
Responsible for tracking all meetings with investors and prospects, including maintenance of Salesforce system, distribution of conference and meeting notes, and other organizational tasks related to supporting the GCR RM team
Prepare RM and PMs for upcoming meetings with detailed memos
Participate in client meetings and track feedback on all Ares funds
Interact with investment professionals and product managers regularly to track recent developments, portfolio performance, and fundraising progress / plans
Support Senior RMs by in their coverage by responding to investor inquiries and data requests
Participate in internal weekly meetings including but not limited to: Global Relationship Management, Regional and Product team calls
Organize client lists and help track and update prospects for all Ares strategies
Gather market intelligence and research on markets, industry trends, and new potential clients
Qualifications
Education: College graduate with major in Economics, Finance, General Business or Management preferred, with outstanding academic record
Experience Required:
1-2 years of experience in investment / wealth management, business management / strategy, accounting or financial services
General Requirements:
Outstanding organizational skills with attention to detail
Requires excellent communication, writing and interpersonal skills
Excellent time management skills and ability to collaborate with others
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Problem solver with ability to research solutions and suggest resolutions
Ability to manage requests and prioritize projects according to business needs
Demonstrated ability to understand, analyze and articulate data, and make informed decisions

Compensation
The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.
