Job Title: Global Treasury – Analyst
Job Description: Blackstone’s Global Treasury group is looking for a highly skilled Analyst within its Global Treasury Middle Office supporting Investment Operations, Liquidity Planning, and Portfolio Management functions. The Global Treasury Middle Office provides operational support for Corporate Treasury’s investment activities including all forecasting, settlement and reporting. In addition, the Group is responsible for collateral management, market data maintenance, compliance coordination, dashboard analytics, liquidity and risk reporting, and works closely with Blackstone’s Treasurer, CFO and liquid investment committee. The analyst will leverage technology to lead process development and improvement initiatives, managing projects with multiple upstream and downstream stakeholders. Additional responsibilities include the following:
- Support the analysis and presentation of investment opportunities and capital allocation to senior leadership
- Contribute to the analysis and execution of financing initiatives for Blackstone’s balance sheet
- Support the construction of regular and ad-hoc investment committees, liquidity and risk analysis and reporting
- Liaise with Finance and Operations teams on regular month-end/quarter-end reporting and assist with any ad-hoc inquires
- Oversee market data and collateral management processes
- Facilitate the closing process for Treasury investments; coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders and ensuring that all investment activity is accurately captured and processed in the relevant system of record
- Contribute to projects on automation of initiatives across the Treasury platform; working with counterparts in Operations, Finance and Technology
- Work closely with offshore support team including through oversight of standard operating procedures
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency through technology-driven solutions and lead implementation of automation/upgrade initiatives across the Treasury platform working with counterparts in Operations, Finance and Technology
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Computer Science or a quantitative discipline with a strong academic record
- Prior experience in a finance, credit, or operations role is preferred, but not required
- Strong proficiency in advanced MS Excel (including VBA) and MS PowerPoint is required; experience with Tableau is a plus
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or SQL with experience in data analysis and manipulation is a plus
- Familiarity with fixed income, FX and/or derivatives
- Accounting knowledge is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, high EQ, and the ability to handle interactions confidently and competently with deal professionals, operations teams, and senior management
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and handle multiple projects while prioritizing deliverables and meeting demanding deadlines in support of a growing / evolving business
- Strong attention to detail and highly motivated; able to complete projects independently

Expected annual base salary range:
$90,000 - $125,000Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
