The Human Resources Business Partner (“HRBP”) role is multi-dimensional and involves aligning the organization’s Human Resources strategies with its business strategy and successfully implementing critical initiatives in support of business activities. The HRBP will work both as a hands-on generalist, strategic partner, and a trusted advisor to business constituents at all levels. Other responsibilities include the following:

  • Own key Human Resources activities as assigned; projects will vary but may include performance improvement plans, headcount tracking and reporting, end to end process management of leavers, and cyclical HR processes

  • Lead junior talent discussions with Finance management and senior HRBPs

  • Interpret Human Resources metrics and support core people and talent processes (e.g., talent reviews, annual promotions, mentorship programs, etc.)

  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees providing insights and recommendations on workforce planning and talent management

  • Own and manage headcount analytics and reporting across Finance, ensuring accurate and timely updates

  • Single point of contact and owner for all HR data changes – transfers, manager updates, department changes, etc.

  • Ensure HR data integrity and accuracy by working closely with HRIS and key systems to streamline reporting processes

  • Partner with boarder HR team to implement and deliver HR programs - Employee Relations, HR Operations, Recruiting, Talent Development

Qualifications

The individual we seek is an experienced Human Resources professional with excellent strategic insights, broad HR experience, including organization development and effectiveness, and a strong generalist skill set. The HRBP, AVP is a confident change agent with strong communication skills who is an effective and persuasive communicator, comfortable interacting with partners at all levels. The HRBP, AVP must have strong interpersonal skills and be a collaborative colleague. In addition, they should meet the following qualifications:

  • Strong project management and analytical skills with a hands on approach

  • No task too small mentality

  • Dives deep into processes and makes suggestions for automation and improvement

  • Effectively and persuasively communicates inside and outside of HR

  • Advanced Excel skills including X-lookup, conditional formatting, pivot tables and short-cuts

  • Human resources experience in client-facing roles, such as an HR generalist or HR Business partner

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Minimum of 6 years human resources experience gained, at least in part, at a well-respected professional services, financial services, or technology organization known for disciplined business performance and engaged, consultative human resources

Expected annual base salary range:

$110,000 - $150,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
