About the Valuations team
The Valuations team sits within EQT’s Group Finance function and plays a critical role in investor reporting and portfolio company valuations across all our business lines—Private Capital and Real Assets. The team covers EQT’s diverse investment strategies, including Private Equity, Infrastructure, and Ventures, and works cross-functionally with investment teams, Performance Steering, and Fund Operations. Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to developing and continuously enhancing valuation processes and analytics for EQT’s evergreen funds and broader fund structures.
- Assess and challenge valuation methodologies to ensure they are robust, suitable, and aligned with the nature of EQT’s diverse private market investments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams—such as Investment, Performance Steering, and Fund Operations—to ensure high-quality fund and portfolio company valuations, accurate performance attribution, and data consistency.
- Drive internal business development efforts by designing and implementing bespoke analytical solutions that address the evolving needs of EQT’s investors and stakeholders.
- Monitor and interpret industry developments and best practices to improve internal valuation frameworks, tools, and reporting standards.
- Prepare and distribute clear and comprehensive investment management reports for EQT’s investor base.

You enjoy working with data and financial modelling, and you’re always one step ahead in ensuring quality and integrity.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, strategy consulting, transaction services, or fund valuations—ideally with exposure to open-ended funds or private assets.
- Proven experience in valuing private companies and modeling fund-level investment returns, including capital structures and performance attribution metrics.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to design customized reporting or valuation models in a dynamic investment environment.
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across departments and global teams.
- Experience with evergreen or open-ended fund structures is a strong plus.
