Your Role :

Invesco Search Engine Optimization Senior Analyst plays an integral role in working with Web, User Experience, Search and Social teams to improve organic traffic, provide content recommendations, and share best practices for our websites.

This role is both strategic and hands-on and you will collaborate with driven, high-performing teams, both internal and external. Partnering closely with Marketing, PR, Content, Creative and our other partners, the goal is to execute search campaigns/initiatives for Invesco. This role will be responsible for organizing, prioritizing and balancing business objectives with agility and an innovative mindset to test & learn and be at the forefront of engagement. The role will create marketing voice behind search platforms for Invesco to drive engagement and will be actively involved in strategy, content generation, insights/analytics and campaign management, as well as ensuring our website is highly optimized from an SEO perspective.


What you will be doing :

  • Work on search engine optimization analysis for our main site Invesco.com and associated websites.

  • Give recommendations to the web development team on web best practices and technical improvements.

  • Work with Marketing and editorial teams to share SEO best practices and content rankings on search engines, to set the team up for future successes.

  • Partner with Insights & Analytics, User experience teams, and external partners - including agencies, to make recommendations on website changes that improve our visibility on Search Engines.

  • Work with the Compliance team to ensure all regulatory requirements are being met for our sites.

  • Conduct keyword research to generate new keyword ideas to optimize content.

  • Offer suggestions on content ideas based on search engine traffic to the Editorial Team.

  • Using Google Analytics, monitor website traffic and search results to develop SEO strategies.

  • Work with editorial and the web teams to update outdated content.

  • Develop link-building strategies.

  • Keep up to date with new trends and best SEO practices.

What you will bring :

  • Enthusiastic self-starter, thrives in fast-paced environment

  • Passionate about digital marketing, particularly SEO

  • Previous experience utilizing Microsoft suite of products such as Word, Excel, Power Point

  • Interested in learning about digital marketing tools including Google Analytics, Social Studio, Google Ads, etc.

  • Excellent writing, editing and interpersonal skills

  • Good organizational and time-management skills

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams

  • Demonstrated ability to be highly creative and innovative

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team setting

  • Prior experience in customer service, advertising, public relations or online marketing an asset

  • Knowledge of financial services preferred.

  • Knowledge of Google Analytics and/or BrightEdge (or other similar tool) preferred.
