We are looking for our next Manager, Editorial Content supporting our Brand & Content Marketing team based in our Henley-on-Thames office!

Your role:

You'll create timely, compelling content that engages financial professionals and individual investors. This includes writing and editing thought leadership, market commentary, and investment theme content across various multi-media formats — and partnering on client journeys to tie this content to Invesco’s investment strategies and products.

Our challenge for this role is to bring a journalistic and data-driven approach to our team with pace, flexibility and multimedia thinking.

Among your responsibility could be:

  • Strategic planning

  • Content creation

  • Content prioritization

  • Content amplification

  • Content refinement

You'll need to have:

  • Experience in an editorial or journalistic content creation role that crafts original content for activation across digital and traditional media.

  • Experience creating a wide variety of content formats from long-form thought leadership through to short-form video and infographics.

  • Familiarity with digital strategy and insights-, metrics- and results-based marketing principles.

  • Experience working with thought leaders and executives to help articulate their messages in client-friendly ways.

  • The ability to offer editorial feedback in constructive ways, and to take received feedback to make content better.

  • Experience with financial services or investment content would be helpful.

  • High editorial standards, takes pride in the work.

  • Ability to write content from the beginning and to edit drafts begun by others.

  • Upbeat, prefers working at pace.

  • Flexibility to change with current events and shifting priorities.

  • Intellectual curiosity about your audience and what makes them tick.

  • Understands what investors and financial professionals need from a story versus the general public.

  • Ability to work optimally as part of a committee or working group.

  • Strong organizational skills and detail orientation.

  • Compelling experience, knowledge and attitude would gladly be considered in lieu of a degree in Digital Media, Journalism, Marketing or Communications. We are more interested in how you got here than formal qualification.
