Job Description
Your Team
Investment Services Operations provides global end to end middle to back-office support for trade management, portfolio operations and data management, reconciliation, corporate action, bank loans, fund services and reporting to support Invesco’s investment related activities. The team focuses to provide quality service with highly disciplined operations, to deliver responsive support for investment processes, new products and instruments, to be responsive to changing economic, regulatory and risk environments, to manage and deliver quality data in accordance with “SMART” data principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Understanding of key tasks, deliverables and stakeholders aligned to any program/ project
- Understanding and performing data collection, data quality check and take necessary actions to ensure timely availability of data/ information for program/ project deliverables
- Assist in developing and maintaining project plans, schedules and budgets as needed.
- Help with decision-making on new or current projects, by gathering and analyzing data and providing insights into new possibilities or areas in need of improvement.
- Work with business, ops and support (Risk, Audit, Tech etc.) functions to understand the guidelines and implications of project execution
- Be able to extract information, at all levels of the organization (individual contributor to senior management), to identify core problems/needs
- Be able to present data & insights in a meaningful way for varied stakeholders
- Work closely with business functions to pro-actively identify & define opportunities for continuous improvement; build diagnostic and develop business cases
- Management of Continuous Improvement agenda/ drive and shaping up project opportunities
- Assist in the definition of performance metrics for all projects as well as business functions and drive governance around the same with stakeholders
- Communicate project status frequently up and down the organization and suggest changes to use available capacity efficiently
- Optimize the Continuous Improvement framework & establish control procedures
- Contribute to various governance forums as appropriate
- Collaborate with cross functional team to resolve issues or improve the process for future state

The Experience You Bring
- 1-3 years of experience in Analyst or Admin role, preferably in Financial or Investment Banking Sector
- Experience of building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and conflict management skills
- Ability to conduct analysis and present data in a meaningful way
- Open minded, flexible, and willing to listen to and incorporate other people’s opinions and a strong “out-of-the-box” thinker who challenges status-quo
- Ability to ask questions seeking clarity and direction to resolve issues/ challenges even when data or information on hand is limited
- Understanding of basics of Financial Industry, particularly, familiarity with US financial markets. Familiarity with US financial planning / wealth management is a big plus.
Academic requirements
- Bachelors/ Masters degree from reputed university
- Certification/ Experience on Data Visualization tools would be preferred
- Certification/ Experience on Automation tools is an added advantage
