Seeking team-oriented Executive with experience in Technology to support sector theme development, transaction execution, and portfolio monitoring for the Americas Private Equity – Software industry group.

The Executive will be an integral member of a small team of investment executives. Operating in a lean environment, the Executive will be responsible for key aspects of projects ranging from theme development to investment execution to portfolio company oversight. The Executive will be expected to operate both independently as well as to manage Associates and oversee third party advisors, as appropriate. The Executive will also be expected to support firm-wide initiatives and collaborate on specific projects across sector groups as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead aspects of investment sourcing by conducting sector research, and thematic development independently and in conjunction with outside parties.
  • Support transaction execution by working closely with senior investment executives to:
    • conduct / oversee financial modeling and investment structuring analysis
    • structure due diligence approach and managing third party due diligence providers
    • synthesize findings into internal investment committee presentation materials
    • structure debt financings
    • assist with negotiating key transaction terms.
  • Support portfolio company oversight by assisting in regular monitoring, strategy development, M&A and other special projects, as necessary
  • Oversee and mentor junior executives and add to firm culture

Experience:

  • Current full-time MBA student with anticipated graduation date of Spring 2024
  • 4-6 years of work experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of Technology sector experience
  • Private equity / principal investment experience
  • Experience managing third parties / leading aspects of transaction processes

This is the expected annual base salary range for this Menlo Park-based position. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
Base Salary Range
$190,000$195,000 USD
