The Marketing and Communications Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping and implementing Levi's® brand strategy within the Canadian marketplace. Central to this position is crafting compelling campaigns that consider local market nuances and maximize the brand’s presence across all consumer touchpoints. You must understand the Canadian consumer and the retail landscape, have a creative zest and possess extensive experience delivering successful integrated marketing programs. This is a hybrid role based in Markham, Canada.
About the Job
Marketing
Manage the execution of integrated marketing programs, both physical and digital, that achieve our goals and bring Levi’s® brand values to life.
Develop a retail marketing strategy that supports the growth of Levi’s® Stores, including new store openings, seasonal programs, consumer events and local initiatives. Lead retail marketing within the cross-functional team.
Collaborate with internal partners to position Levi’s® as the leader in denim customization and promote the Tailor Shop consumer experience.
Lead Canadian marketing efforts for collaborations, coordinating with cross-functional partners to ensure KPIs are exceeded.
Recap, analyze and share insights on all marketing programs and the competitive marketplace.
Communications
Develop and implement a robust PR strategy to grow Levi’s® brand equity among consumers, media and influencers. This includes local program execution and the localization of Global programs into market-relevant initiatives across the PR ecosystem.
Work with the Canadian PR agency to oversee media outreach, media interviews, PR/influencer events, product/sample/image/seeding requests, seasonal product launches, and influencer relations.
Build and activate a network of brand ambassadors to drive brand equity, brand values, and key seasonal product stories with PR agency.
Manage the development and localization of press materials including press releases, media alerts, and talking points in partnership with the Global PR Team & PR Agency.
Partner with PR Agency to develop regular reporting and program recaps.
Manage relationships with external partners in media, corporate and fashion industries to maximize brand presence.
Manage PR agency briefing and scope of work.
Manage related budgets through monthly reconciliations, quarterly forecasts and annual financial planning.
About You
Minimum 5 years of experience building integrated marketing campaigns, including digital activations, event management, and public relations.
Experience managing multi-faceted marketing programs from conception to execution.
Experience working with agency partners, developing briefs and managing complex projects on time and on budget.
Ability to respond to time-sensitive issues outside of typical business hours.
Reports to the Canadian Marketing Director.
Works closely with the Canadian, US and Global Marketing Teams. Cross functional partnership with the Retail, Merchandising, Planning, Allocation and Finance teams.
