Levi Strauss & Co. is looking for a Senior Analyst, Financial Reporting to support the Global Controllership organization. You will be responsible for consolidated financial reporting for the company. You will work in the San Francisco office and report to the Director of SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting.

About the Job

  • Prepare SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q and 8-K, ensuring the accuracy and compliance with SEC regulations

  • Collaborate internally with investor relations, legal, tax and global accounting to gather necessary information for filings and collaborate effectively to ensure accurate reporting.

  • Prepare quarterly financial statements and support while maintaining strong internal controls

  • Ensure compliance with the accounting and disclosure requirements of GAAP

  • Perform technical accounting research and analysis on non-recurring and complex transactions

  • Support the monthly accounting consolidations process as needed through journal entries preparation and review

  • Identify and implement process improvements and opportunities for simplification.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting

  • CPA or CPA candidate

  • 4+ years’ experience in financial reporting and technical accounting, public accounting experience helpful

  • Knowledge of GAAP, particularly accounting, disclosure and internal control dynamics

  • Ability in problem-solving, directing/leading and motivating others and working in cross-functional teams e.g. projects.

  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office tools, particularly Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, formulas, etc.)

  • Proficiency with Workiva, Hyperion and SAP helpful.

  • Leader for others advocating for appropriate accounting treatment.

This is a hybrid position based in our San Francisco, CA headquarters. You will be expected in office 3 days per week typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on business needs.

The expected starting salary range for this role is $90,700 - $120,900 per year. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs.
