About the Job
- As an Associate Account Manager, you will support the Sr. Account Manager and ensuring the seamless execution of sales functions. You will develop and implement strategies to achieve sales and profitability goals, while promoting growth and strengthening relationships with important partners. Your responsibilities will include:
- Sales Support: Collaborate with the Sr. Account Manager to implement sales strategies and projects that increase growth and achieve targets. Help build sales plans and help achieve account goals.
- Analyze weekly reports and business reviews, including account recaps, ROS report, and shipping updates. Use data insights to make informed recommendations and identify growth opportunities for your accounts.
- Daily Account Management: Oversee account documentation and scorecards, manage item setups, and handle sample management. Coordinate assortment planning and order processing, ensuring all responsibilities are implemented. Resolve customer order issues in collaboration with customer service and buyers to maintain high satisfaction levels and meet sales forecasts.
- Sales/Sell-In Process: Support the Sr. Account Manager in preparing and implementing sell-in meetings and market appointments. Help improve account strategies and recaps, enhancing the sales process.
- System Management: Manage critical data in SAP, including size scales, to ensure deliveries and resolve chargebacks. Maintain accurate and updated system information to support efficient operations.
- Financial Accountability: Provide accurate monthly forecasts to achieve annual shipping targets and support our goals. Handle credit memos and address financial challenges.
- Develop, collaborative relationships with important partners, supporting projects and account-specific needs.
- Marketplace Insights: Serve as the team expert on floor maps, site audits, competitive research, and marketplace trends. Use these insights to guide strategic decisions and account growth.
About You
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or 5+ years of combined college education and work experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a retail/wholesale apparel business or similar consumer packaged goods industry, with a focus on sales, merchandising, or retail support departments.
- understanding of business metrics and retail math, including sales, margin, inventory Indicators (e.g., AUR, Turn, Sell Thru%, Instocks, Fill Rates).
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications
- Detail Orientation: with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
This is a hybrid position based in our New York headquarters. You will be expected in office 3 days per week typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on our needs.
The expected starting salary range for this role is $91,900 - $114,900 per year. We may pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount an employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and our needs.
