BACKGROUND:
Created in 1987, the LVMH Group today comprises more than 75 exceptional Maisons, each of which creates high-quality products. The LVMH Group's Maisons, which sell their products both in physical stores and online, are focused on optimizing payment solutions to improve customer experience, expand into new markets, and combat fraud. To support this effort, LVMH Holding, the "Maison of Maisons," is expanding its team to hire a Senior Manager, Payments for LVMH North America.
This position will be based in the Finance/Treasury Department of LVMH Inc in New York and will report to the Head of Payment Group based in Paris, France and will have a day-to-day reporting line to the LVMH Inc. North America VP and Treasurer.
PAYMENTS DEPARTMENT AREA OF RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Ensuring coordination between the different Group and Maison Departments
- Defining the Group's strategic priorities on credit card payments and fraud
- Monitoring the Maisons' roadmaps and ensuring consistency with the Group's strategy
- Managing the Group's external stakeholders
- Providing recommendations to the overall group on best practices
- Providing daily support to Maison projects and operations
- Leading and fostering credit card payment community shared experience, training and networking sessions
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with other Group Departments and Maisons regarding the payment ecosystem, best practice studies, and group tenders
- Be a credit card payments subject matter expert supporting multiple cross functional areas to drive innovation and results.
- Participate in the global payment SteerCo meetings representing North America region
- Possess end to end negation experience to develop and execute strategic relationships
- Manage small, medium and large-scale projects and maintain roadmaps including progress tracking tables, issues, obstacles and timelines
- Lead internal projects and studies - ensuring coordination with different Departments (Finance, IT, Security, Purchasing, Legal, Digital/Omnichannel, Retail etc. as appropriate)
- Develop senior and strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders (payment ecosystem, PSP, Acquirers, Fraud tools, Schemes etc)
- Contact and representative of LVMH Group payment department in North America
- Organize and manage Maison working groups, committees, workshops
- Provide support and strategical guidance on Credit Card Payment and Fraud issues to the Maisons’ in the region
- Develop monitoring dashboards for payment performance and fraud prevention:
- Perform data analysis, identify problems, propose action plans, write and present summaries
Profile
- Participate in the Group strategy, tenders, evaluation of solutions and suppliers, and contract negotiation.
- Participate in the Groups internal meetings by:
- organizing and leading workshops
- training
- providing regional experience feedback
- sharing of best practices and technological advancements
MISCELLEANOUS:
This transversal role will open the doors to all Maisons through close collaboration with the different departments of the Holding and Maisons (Finance, IT, Operations, Digital, Retail, Legal, Security...) and in an international dimension.
You will work on Group projects and initiatives related to all areas within the credit card payment scope focused specifically to support the US Market.
PRINCIPAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent college degree
- Minimum 7+ years’ experience in payment industry or credit card acceptance or processing
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience as credit card payment manager at a merchant in the USA
- Understanding of payment platforms and ecosystem
- Experience in project management and leading working groups
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Powerpoint, PowerBI
- Ease and confidence with data analytic tools
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Composure and ability to work with not only peers but with senior management
- Understanding and embodiment of the core values of the LVMH Group by demonstrating creativity, innovation, excellence and entrepreneurial spirit

COMPENSATION RANGE:
$115,000 - $175,000 per year

LVMH Inc. uses the published salary range as a guideline to provide our employees with market competitive pay while allowing for flexibility to recognize and reward various levels of experience, performance, tenure, and other compensable factors. In general, candidates with limited or no experience in the role should expect an offer in the lower third of the range. Experienced candidates that are strong performers may receive an offer in the middle third of the range. Candidates with significant experience in the role with proven top performance may receive an offer in the top third of the range. While the published salary range is a good faith reflection of the targeted salary level for the position, LVMH Inc. reserves the right to make an offer outside of the published salary range.
