Technology Business Analyst Summer Intern

The Equities Technology Business Analyst team is responsible for translating Equities and Quant Trading business requirements into technical specifications that serve as the blueprint development teams use to enhance the tools used by Portfolio Managers to execute trades.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensuring delivery of new features in an efficient and organized fashion
• Help define software solutions that solve complex problems raised by Portfolio Managers
• Coordinate change across all impacted teams
• Produce end-user guides and documentation that educate Portfolio Managers on new features and workflows

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements

• Rising seniors or Master’s students entering their final year who are interested in a future career at a top-tier alternative asset financial services firm.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, teamwork and analytical skills
• Major in Information Technology or Management Engineering
• Existing knowledge or strong desire to learn about financial markets (Equities/Futures/FX) and electronic trading
• Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, SDLC would be helpful
• Cumulative GPA of 3.5 and above
• Expert technical skills in Excel, and Office suite

Millennium pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. The estimated base salary for this position is $100,000 which is specific to New York and may change in the future. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual’s experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
