Job Function Summary

The global Branding & Communications team is responsible for branding and communications strategies for Millennium and WorldQuant. This role provides the opportunity to support the global Branding & Communications team and ensure the seamless coordination of the firm’s branding and communications activities across EMEA and APAC working in close partnership with key stakeholders globally. This is a unique opportunity for a talented, organized individual to work alongside an innovative team, with exposure to branding, marketing and communications in the alternative investment management industry.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Serve as local point of contact representing the Branding & Communications team
  • Support the coordination, development and execution of branding and communications activity across EMEA & APAC markets/time zones
  • Oversee operational management of key branding and communications projects and initiatives
  • Support the management of processes related to the firm’s international network of communications agency partners
  • Support local internal communications activity and initiatives in EMEA and APAC as required, with a focus on London
  • Support the development of digital content and strategies, including Millennium’s global employee intranet and external website
  • Manage external vendors and consultant relationships, including reviewing contracts and overseeing reporting processes – partnering closely with regional legal and compliance.
  • Provide support for UK-based Branding & Communications executives
  • Support logistics in EMEA & APAC for the firm’s internal content and communication platform
  • Support the development of daily media coverage compilations and media monitoring
  • Copy drafting and review as required
  • Draft and prepare materials to support communications, including messaging, Q&A, presentations, press releases, and other related materials
  • Exercise sound judgment and discretion of a highly confidential nature
  • Other related projects and duties as requested

Qualifications/Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 10+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Communications and marketing/branding experience at a communications agency or in-house, preferred
  • Highly proficient in drafting communications materials
  • Strong research, comprehension, verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with project management and evaluating contracts
  • Strong track-record of efficiently managing external vendors globally
  • Experience with internal processes and systems in a corporate environment
  • Quick learner, highly organized and detail oriented; demonstrable thoroughness and strong ownership of work
  • Proven ability to prioritize in a fast moving and constantly changing environment; high sense of urgency
  • Ability to get up to speed quickly on new problems, shift gears, and balance multiple projects concurrently
  • Excellent attention to detail with a dedication to accuracy, quality, and integrity
  • Friendly and cooperative personality, along with strong interpersonal skills
  • Natural relationship builder with enthusiasm for the alternative investment industry
