Index Research AnalystIndex Research Analyst as part of a collaborative team, with a focus on index rebalancing.Preferred LocationOpen to candidates in Europe, London preferred.Principal Responsibilities<ul> <li>Working alongside the trading and research team with a focus on US, EMEA and Asia Indices.</li> <li>Performing primary research from company reports and research shareholding structure to build accurate predictions of index events.</li> <li>Identifying signals and generating ideas to contribute to the overall team strategy.</li> <li>Interpreting index methodologies. </li> </ul>Preferred Technical Skills<ul> <li>Strong research and programming skills</li> <li>High attention to detail.</li> <li>Experience in Excel, Python and SQL</li> </ul>Preferred Experience<ul> <li>2-5 years of experience as a Researcher or Quantitative Researcher in an Index Rebalancing environment</li> <li>Demonstrated track record of working with filings and key information documents on global companies.</li> <li>Demonstrated understanding of equity index methodologies. </li> </ul>
