SUMMARY
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Partnership Marketing to fulfill an approximately 18-month maternity leave coverage contract supporting our global and North American partnerships, harnessing the power of technology and innovation in sports to drive business growth and enhance fan experiences. As a key member of our team, you will support the development and execution of strategic plans, leveraging cutting-edge solutions and emerging trends to push the boundaries of what's possible in sports marketing. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Driving Innovation: Serve as a subject matter expert on innovation in sports media, staying ahead of emerging tech trends to inform strategic decisions and partner inspiration
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategic plans for Global and North American partners, determining resource allocation and project leads to achieve business objectives
- Content & Media Strategy: Oversee content development and media planning (NHL, Partner Owned, Broadcast & Paid), ensuring seamless experiences for partner and League stakeholders; managing content projects from concept to delivery
- Event Management and Execution: Plan and execute NHL Tentpole events, managing logistics, budget, and asset approval, working in partnership with NHL Events Team
- Project Support and Management: Support senior leadership on projects, manage budgets, and track financial performance to ensure successful outcomes, including overseeing Partner operations (status agendas, actions, minutes)
- Team Collaboration and Communication: Lead communication with internal stakeholders, review and align external communications, and ensure effective collaboration with Account Executives, serving as a source of inspiration
- Consumer Insights: Decipher and apply research insights to elevate Partner programming
- Revenue Management: Responsible for fulfilling all contractual obligations and pro-actively selling new opportunities designed to further enhance the Partner's association with the NHL, while increasing League revenue, including development and execution of go-to-market (GTM) plans.

QUALIFICATIONS
- B2B marketing experience, with a proven track record of driving business growth through strategic partnerships
- Results-oriented, with a strong focus on delivering measurable outcomes and exceeding expectations
- Superior verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Bilingualism (French) is an asset
- Strong strategic marketing skills, with expertise in brand promotion, advertising, and project management
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the ability to manage multiple direct reports and build & maintain strong partnerships
- Proven aptitude in emerging media, innovation, and technology, and an interest in hockey & stats analytics
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, with excellent planning and organizational skills
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- 8-10 years of marketing experience in a client, property, or agency setting, with direct experience managing professional sports properties and global partnerships.
- Successful completion of post-secondary education with a focus on Business/Marketing.
