Job Summary:
The Florida Panthers Hockey Club is looking for the next key piece to join our team and help build the excitement at Amerant Bank Arena. In this fast-paced, competitive and fun office culture we are looking for our next Group Sales teammate. The Account Executive, Group Sales is to create a unique, first-class experience by prospecting and selling group packages for the Florida Panthers, Amerant Bank Arena, and War Memorial Auditorium events. Specific focus will be placed on establishing relationships with South Florida businesses, schools, membership organizations, and clubs that result in annual event programming. Account Executives will generate group sales through self-prospected leads as well as internal campaigns assigned within the Florida Panthers database. This role will maximize sales opportunities each day through outbound sales efforts including face-to-face meetings, phone calls, and e-mails. This role will oversee specific categories (i.e. Youth Sports, Alumni Groups, etc.) as well as leverage various Fan Experience Packages to surpass sales goals. Account Executive, Group Sales, will have the flexibility to sell a full menu of ticket products including season, suite, concerts & events and partial ticket packages..
Job Functions:
Specific duties include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for maximizing revenue through sales of Florida Panthers ticket packages including Territory Memberships, Partial Plans, Group tickets and Premium seating options (including Suites, Loge Boxes, Amerant Vault, Corona Beach House and Glass Seat locations)
- Establish and maintain relationships with South Florida businesses, schools, membership organizations, and clubs that result in annual ticketed event programming
- Prospect and sell packages to concerts and events taking place at Amerant Bank Arena and War Memorial Auditorium.
- Make 50+ outbound touch points daily
- Conduct a minimum of 2 face-to-face sales appointments and/or tours weekly
- Actively self-prospect and research new sales leads and potential clients through various platforms
- Build and enhance current relationships to grow account base through repeat business and referrals
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly ticket sales goals
- Handle incoming calls from sales prospects and existing clients
- Utilize Salesforce CRM software to manage customer accounts
- Work home games and other events to support ticket sales initiatives
- Provide excellent service through phone calls, emails, written communication and in-person visits in the office and special events
- Participate in all ticket sales events, game duties, sales trainings, and meetings
- Participate in Florida Panthers Foundation events in the community
Qualifications:

- At least (1-2) years full-time sports sales experience preferred
- Entrepreneurial spirit; self-starter
- Highly motivated, competitive and committed to the sports industry with a desire to be successful
- Strong communication and computer skills
- Superior time management skills and presentation skills
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed, in addition to traditional business hours
- Passion for a growth-oriented career in ticket sales
- Detail-oriented and organized; ability to handle several projects at once
- Bilingual is an asset
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is an exempt position. Must be able to work flexible hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
