What it's about

Partners Group is seeking a Finance Applications Specialist to join the global Finance Applications Team (FINAP) which closely interacts with Accounting, Controlling, Treasury, Human Resources and Technology teams across the group.

As a Finance Applications Specialist, based in Zug, Switzerland, you ensure delivery and day to day support of software products that are efficient and meet the business requirements. You are a proven SAP FI/CO specialist with extensive experience in software or systems development, implementation and operations as well as excellent Finance business process understanding.

Proven hands-on experience with software tools as mentioned below is a very big plus and is highly preferred:

  • SAP S/4Hana Public Cloud
  • SAP Blackline
  • SAP SAC Analytics Cloud
  • SAP Group Reporting
  • TIS – Treasury Intelligence Solutions
  • Ivalua eProcurement
  • Workiva
  • etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configuration and management of new and existing software applications according to defined business requirements.
  • Run/Lead mid to large-sized projects related to operations, including incident, problem, and request management, as needed.
  • Provide guidance to project team members.
  • Develop and refine software application configuration processes and procedures.
  • Work with other technical teams to design and integrate Finance systems.
  • Investigate and resolve Finance applications software errors, identify root cause of issues, and determine strategies to avoid recurrence.
  • Propose solutions to complex system design and implementation problems.
  • Ensure appropriate testing, evaluation, and implementation of Finance systems.
  • Ensure service level agreements are met, and performance targets are achieved.
  • Proactively provide innovative ideas on problems encountered and seek to enhance existing processes.
  • Collaborate with IT departments and other stakeholders to ensure IT policy and procedures are followed.
  • Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

What we expect

  • Strong financial acumen, functional and technical knowledge in SAP FI/CO, accounting principles, and regulations.
  • Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the finance systems industry or information technology management.
  • Strong skills in project management with an ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and able to deliver within time and quality constraints.
  • Possessing extensive technical knowledge across Finance applications, organizational and business knowledge
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with an ability to collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and manage expectations.
