We are seeking an experienced and strategic Ingredient Sr Sourcing Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Sr Sourcing Manager, you will lead the sourcing and procurement of key ingredients that align with our brand standards and business objectives. You will manage supplier relationships, oversee commodity procurement, and ensure cost-effective and sustainable sourcing practices. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining our reputation for quality and consistency across our global product offerings.

As a Sr Sourcing Manager, you will:

Strategies built will require input from marketing, product development, quality assurance, finance, and treasury. The strategies must consider brand evolution, partner impact and customer experience.

Establish resiliency to ensure supply and mitigate, reduce, and eliminate risk related to ethical sourcing, capacity, supplier financials, margin, and other identified risks. Balance cost volatility in collaboration with the treasury team in executing financial derivatives as necessary. Monitor global market trends and analyze commodity price fluctuations to manage risks associated with raw material procurement.
  • Drive Value – Consistently build a value pipeline and execute on plans by leveraging relationships with stakeholders and suppliers to identify and drive value. Develop a deep knowledge of the category, ingredient spend, and key cost drivers to identify value delivery initiatives that will reduce costs and enable business growth.
  • Inspire and influence others to streamline ingredients and support innovation – Partner with marketing, product development, operations, quality assurance and other food team members to drive plans forward to unlock the full potential of the food and beverage portfolio. Build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and potential suppliers. Lean in to learn from others and pass forward your learnings.
  • Bring joy – Be part and contribute to a fun and energetic team with high collaboration to drive business initiatives forward, while acting in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles
