As a Manager, Strategy, Analytics and Insights, you will be part of a team that grounds every decision we make in truth and insight, builds and operationalizes the strategic plan and helps the Canadian business and its partners unlock innovation and growth. This job contributes to Starbuck’s success by leading Canada’s analytics and insights team, helping the organization make better decisions by growing our understanding, driving data-literacy and building new tools and process that elevate our thinking. In support of these accountabilities, this role helps identify key issues, generate hypotheses, designs solutions and analyses, works across teams to curate insight, and support decisions.
As a Manager, Strategy, Analytics and Insights, you will work on high priority, high impact strategies and analytics, as well as:
· A&I Leadership: Sets goals for the A&I function, develops organizational capability, and models how we work together to address our biggest opportunities.
· Data Democratizing & Portfolio Management: Supports day-to-day portfolio prioritization, and system of works including communication of A&I priorities and key moments of data & insight democratization.
· Customer & Store Support: Important thought partner and extension of Store Development and Product & Marketing teams, helping develop and bring to life market research, analytics and connect the dots between insights and strategy.
· Innovation: Works in partnership across the business on critical innovation priorities. Supports team in problem solving approach design, defining key issues, developing hypotheses, designing required analyses, and driving solutioning and validation efforts.
· Collaboration: One-team mindset! Excels at scaling impact by effectively working through and with others. Challenges the status quo and inspires partners to achieve business results.
· Communication: Creates structured but dynamic presentations, illustrating key business issues, new insights and recommendations. Shares team recommendations to leadership and can confidently field questions and scale thinking with senior thought partners.
· Partner Development & Team Building - Providing partners with coaching, feedback, and developmental opportunities and building effective teams including challenging and inspires partners to achieve business results.

We’d love to hear from people with:
· Analytics and Insights: 5-8 years of progressive experience converting data to insights, leading market research, and developing analysis and methodologies.
· Strategic Thinking: Experience formulating strategy centrally or within functional teams. Adjacent experience supporting teams and businesses solve problems also considered.
· Innovation: Experience in problem identification, solutioning and validation efforts in a cross-functional environment
· Communication: Strong presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders across functions, levels and borders
· Planning and Orchestration: Strong project leadership in a cross-functional environment
· Human Centered Design: Experience in Human Centered Design (HCD) and/or The Starbucks Way nice to have.
