From the beginning, Starbucks set out to be a different kind of company. One that not only celebrated coffee and its rich tradition, but that also brought a feeling of connection. We are known for developing and supporting partners who share this passion and are guided by their service to others.

We are looking for a Labor Relations Business Partner, (various time zones) who will be part of a dedicated cross-functional team to provide labor relations support to partners and our leaders throughout retail, manufacturing, and distribution. The function will support local leaders with resources to help lead through union activity with dignity and respect for our partners, while partnering with local leaders and support teams to focus on proactively uplifting the partner experience across North America through activating the most important strategic partner & store initiatives, leveraging analytics & data to generate insights, and acting as an advocate for all partners.

As a Labor Relations Business Partner, you will:

· Provide labor relations support for the labor relations team and their clients to ensure overall objectives are met within the service level agreements and framework.

· Utilize data, labor relations tools, and guidelines to apply processes to support bargaining, administration, and compliance of the CBA in collaboration with the labor relations manager.

· Consult with LRM and leaders to develop a plan of action to ensure service level agreements and drive positive partner relations.

· Demonstrate solution-oriented behavior to influence outcomes.

We’d love to hear from people with:

· 2-5 years of demonstrated experience in the labor relations field, problem resolution, and/or counsel and advice to front-line managers.

· 2-5 years of experience in Labor Relations/Human Resources.

· 2+ years of experience with contract administration/negotiations.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Interpersonal communication skills across departments.

· Ability to manage difficult or emotional customers.

· Ability to produce high volume and quality work within contractual deadlines.

· Experience in exercising discretionary judgment.

· Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.

As a Starbucks partner, you (and your family) will have access to medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, and other voluntary insurance benefits. Partners have access to short-term and long-term disability, paid parental leave, family expansion reimbursement, paid vacation from date of hire*, sick time (accrued at 1 hour for every 25 hours worked), eight paid holidays, and two personal days per year. Starbucks also offers eligible partners participation in a 401(k) retirement plan with employer match, a discounted company stock program (S.I.P.), Starbucks equity program (Bean Stock), incentivized emergency savings, and financial well-being tools. Additionally, Starbucks offers 100% upfront tuition coverage for a first-time bachelor’s degree through Arizona State University’s online program via the Starbucks College Achievement Plan, student loan management resources, and access to other educational opportunities. You will also have access to backup care and DACA reimbursement. Starbucks will comply with any applicable state and local laws regarding employee leave benefits, including, but not limited to providing time off pursuant to the Colorado Healthy Families and Workplaces Act, and in accordance with its plans and policies. This list is subject to change depending on collective bargaining in locations where partners have a certified bargaining representative.
