About the team
The Global Business Services (GBS) team plays a critical role in establishing and managing policies and processes for the Go-To-Market (GTM) motion, including deal policy, approval processes, contract processes, and the New Product Introduction (NPI) process. Our team ensures compliance with these policies, addresses any breaches, and oversees GBS's business operations.
What you’ll do
In this role, you will lead a team of Operations Associates responsible for implementing internal controls for our revenue contracting processes. This includes supporting deal approval frameworks, managing required tools, and enforcing governance standards. You will train and coach the team on approval management while ensuring revenue contracts meet internal quality controls. Additional responsibilities encompass managing wallet approval workflows, triaging complex deal review requests, tracking governance breaches, and implementing corrective measures. This position will also evolve to support additional functions over time. You’ll provide guidance on effective collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, including product teams, sales, commercial legal, and support services, to ensure compliance with established governance controls.
The GBS Operations Manager will be an adaptable leader and cultivate the engagement of their team members while guiding them to be the best they can be, through feedback, coaching, mentoring, and advocacy within the organization. This means helping to set team goals, and using metrics to efficiently measure and guide team performance in pursuit of those goals. To be a fit, you will have a strong operations mindset, be able to move quickly, and be passionate about delivering an incredible user experience.
