We are looking for a talented channel marketer to join our UK marketing team, which forms part of our EMEA marketing team. This person will help us build on the asset growth and increased brand awareness T. Rowe Price has experienced in the UK over the past few years. This is a 12 month maternity cover role.
The team’s remit covers both the institutional and intermediary segments; this role will take the lead on our institutional marketing activities. We are therefore looking for candidates with good knowledge of the UK institutional market and financial markets and strategies generally. Some knowledge of the intermediary market would also be beneficial, but not essential. Given the importance of ESG considerations to both ourselves and our client base, a solid understanding of ESG will also be important in this role.

The focus areas for this role are:
1. Develop and deliver the go-to-market strategy for UK institutional, as well as partnering with and ensuring leverage across our EMEA and global institutional teams.
2. Plan, execute and measure effective marketing activity across the full marketing mix, with a digital-first mindset.
3. Represent the UK business within T. Rowe Price, ensuring our clients’ needs are met and key stakeholders are well informed.
4. Manage regular updates to core materials and ensure the delivery of a high-quality end-to-end client experience through third party and proprietary virtual, hybrid and in-person events, employing a structured approach with a high degree of accountability.
ROLE SUMMARY
Leads cross-functional teams that develop and execute multi-channel marketing plans that position our strategies and thinking in the UK institutional market. Manages the work of internal and external partners. Stays abreast of the market to help identify changes and opportunities. Creates significant components of the integrated marketing plan for UK institutional. Accountable for the effectiveness of individual marketing programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Evaluates UK institutional client and prospect populations and competitive markets to develop and execute comprehensive business plans for specific assigned segments in order to drive target audience engagement and business results.
• Identifies new market opportunities within UK institutional and promotes products and services by strategically leveraging a variety of promotional channels and delivery mechanisms, including email, digital, events, etc.
• Oversees internal and external business partners in the execution of the segment-specific strategy, ensuring appropriateness, consistency, and timeliness of key messages and data for all audiences.
• Oversees the project plan(s) and overall execution of the Go-To-Market and marketing plan(s) for UK institutional
• Analyses and integrates business data with key performance indicators to inform the future development of new promotional programs and propose new campaigns; provides recommendations on EMEA Institutional-wide promotional plans.
• Acts as the primary point of contact for all deliverables aligned to the institutional segment in the UK. Ensures the ongoing maintenance and optimisation of all ongoing marketing plans.
TYPICAL QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
5 years+ investment management marketing experience, with a preference for experience in UK institutional
Understanding of the UK professional investor media and event landscape
Team player

PREFERRED (OR ESSENTIAL) QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, marketing or communications
- Investment management designation, eg IMC
- Relevant ESG qualification, Certificate in ESG Investing (CFA)
