About the Team Ecommerce's Governance and Experience is a global team responsible for ensuring our marketplace is safe and trustworthy for not only users, but also sellers and creators. We value user satisfaction and work on policies, rules and systems to ensure quality. Responsibilities - Lead a team and to closely partner with counterparts (Legal, PR, GR, Compliance, etc.) in various marketplaces to monitor and interpret product compliance related laws, regulations, standards and practices in overseas markets TikTok operates cross-border e-commerce business, and performs risk and impact assessment, through the whole cross border listings lifecycle. - Build and develop platform governance policy of product compliance assurance including but not limited to prohibited/restricted listing & selling, unsupported products, trade restriction, prohibited transportation, product environment protection, etc. - Initiate and implement programs to identify, assess and gate/delist cross-border e-commerce listings on TT/TTS platform not in compliance with above mentioned laws, regulations and TT/TTS platform policies. - Build up the product compliance enforcement process and work closely with the product and tech team to optimize the enforcement system efficiency. - Work with Data Analysis team to design, launch and upgrade the product compliance and performance metrics, dashboard and report to track, monitor and visualize the product compliance status and related seller performance. - Identify the gags, loopholes and deficiencies in policy/process/metrics and initiate new programs to drive optimization to enhance listing enablement and compliance. - Partner with cross-border e-commerce business and other cross-functions teams to explore and enable listing expansion opportunities with compliance solutions. - Identify compliance pain points and training needs of business and sellers, provide interpretation and education of product compliance policies to sellers and businesses to bring up compliance awareness and reduce compliance related pain frictions. - Work with cross-functions (legal, PA, compliance, business, logistics, etc.) to handle listing compliance issues and escalations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree above. - 5+ years of hands-on and in-depth experience in e-commerce governance product compliance related expertise, practices and programs globally. - 2+ years of cross-border e-commerce programs and related policies, programs and practices, in terms of prohibited/restricted products, trade restriction, prohibited/restricted transportation, etc. - Familiar with product regulatory compliance requirements globally. - Excellent compliance program management and analytical skills, being able to manage the whole life cycle of compliance programs independently, including risks/gaps identification, pros/cons & value analysis, plan & proposal drafting, program enforcement with product solution and operation process ready, as well as the metrics building for monitoring. - Good oral and written communication skills, including the ability to propose complex solutions and explanations in writing. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to influence and reach agreement with others. - Capable of collaborating across multiple cross-functional teams to build plans and launch projects. - Passionate, curious to learn and work independently in a fast-paced environment. - Be sensitive to changes and have the right judgement in ambiguous, diversified and dynamic environments.
