Tower Research Capital, a high-frequency proprietary trading firm founded in 1998, seeks a motivated Analyst to join our APAC Business Management team in Singapore.

The role will provide the right candidate with an opportunity to gain experience in a growing industry, to collaborate with the firm’s senior management and traders, and to develop his or her own skills and market knowledge. Responsibilities

The Analyst will report to Tower’s Managing Director of Business Management (APAC). He or she will work closely with the firm’s senior management on a variety of tasks, including:

• Helping support the day-to-day business operations of Tower’s trading in the APAC region
• Expanding Tower’s participation both on exchanges and in other liquidity pools
• Managing relationships with banks, trading venues and brokers, including overseeing prime brokerage relationships and exchange memberships
• Executing strategic priorities for Tower’s business, market trends and regulatory research
• Organizing administrative records necessary to support trading
• Completing other tasks as assigned by senior management

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be a motivated college graduate or have 1-2 years of professional experience in a related field (e.g, bank, trading venue, or a trading firm), a track record of success, and a bachelor’s or advanced degree from a top university. He or she will also have:

• Understanding of trading technology and fluency discussing technical concepts
• Analytical abilities and strong communication skills
• Project management experience
• A demonstrated capacity to work independently and as a team member
• Fluency in Japanese is a big plus
• Programming skills are not a requirement, but experience with Python or other analytical languages is a plus
